Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients:
1 lb unpeeled medium fresh shrimp
8 oz. of angel hair pasta – uncooked
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup Easley Chardonnay
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
3/4 cup Romano cheese – grated
1 tbsp. fresh parsley – chopped
2 tbsp. olive oil
Directions:
Peel and devein shrimp – set aside. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and place in pot. Coat the pasta with olive oil, cover and set aside. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and shrimp and cook stirring constantly 3-5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Add wine and pepper. Bring to a boil and cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Pour shrimp mixture over pasta. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley and toss gently. Serve immediately.
*to save time you can use shrimp already deveined and peeled*
